Delete your MyNumber account

You can permanently delete your MyNumber account at any time. This page explains how to delete it from the app, what to do if you can no longer sign in, and what happens to your data.

Delete from the app

  1. Open the MyNumber app.
  2. Go to Settings → Security → Delete Account.
  3. Confirm with your password.

Deletion is immediate.

If you can't sign in

Email support@mynumberiq.net from any address with the phone number used on the account, using the subject "Account deletion request".

What is deleted

  • Your profile (name, avatar, phone number).
  • All your listings.
  • Your favorites.
  • Notification and device records.

What is retained

  • Chat messages you sent remain visible to the other participant, attributed to "Deleted account" (no name, phone, or avatar).
  • Records required for fraud prevention and abuse moderation (e.g. ban records) may be retained as permitted by law.
